It really is a small world...

My roomate Lauren has a cool extended family tree - she is half-japanese, half caucasian. Her Grandmother's uncle (on her mother's side) was Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, the man who ordered the attack on Pearl Harbour. Small world - but she is also a distant relative of Harry S Truman on her father's side. Truman, as you probably know, is the president that gave the order's to drop the atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in response to the crisis at Pearl Harbour. We joke that she must have competing blood. Small world, eh...
